Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!

I can't believe this week flew by.  I have been so busy this week. I'm still trying to catch up on my couple of projects.  I'm still working on the twins layouts.  I only have three (six) more to go then I should be finish.  I thought I show what I did before starting this project:  I went thur my paper stash.  I knew that I want to first three months to be pastel then transfer into brights as they become more active. Here was couple selections I made.  then I used post it notes to note titles--and any subtitles for each of layouts.

then in the clear bins--I select some washi tapes that I recently purchase. Few stamp sets I may use, in black CM photo box are all my journal boxes I purchase from CM to use for this layouts.  Not pictures: brads, rhinestones, and other embellishments will be incorporate as I work on them.

In February, I worked on sorting my buttons by colors. at one time I had them in large jar which I hate it in searching for specific amount of buttons. So I decide to sort them by colors and put them with my embellishment drawers that I'm trying out. I did this in three days--little at time.  I realize how many buttons i have. lol I really need to start using them more.

I'm hoping to post some layouts tomorrow of what i have finish so far.  thanks for reading.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday!
it has been a busy couple days--I'm still working on layouts for twins. I just figure out that making two of each taking me little longer than i expect. lol so hoping to finish it this week.

so I'm posting 12 x 12 swap layout I did for last month.  I was in mood for summer and want to use my new zig zag punch o this layout. As i was going thur my summer theme pack--i came across the summer word paper using orange and pink and sun paper. then it just took off from there.
I really like how this turn out.

close up of new mist mask.  I use sponge and just drab orange and yellow onto here and stamp Ali summer stamp here.
first time using sequins here just I just happen to have in my stash.  this complete the 12 x 12 swap layouts.

the next project I had was making Dora invitation for my sister in law's little girl.  I find a template online (can't find her blog now) and alter it little to make cutting the shape of backpack out quicker for me.  I use my circle punch for eyes and stamping up paper piecing punch for eyebrow, and mouth was copy and print onto cardstock.

I used various shade of purple for inside backpack as liner. I did add small insert for information.  She loves it.

I'm hoping work on couple more of those layouts.. i will be posting 2 to 4 of them tomorrow.  Thanks for reading.  Have a great day!

What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 163

Good Evening, everyone!  Happy Wednesday! i know it has been a while since my last posting. Alot to do with summer, three little kiddos, plus alot of illness in past few months has kept me away from blogging. My goal this month is to get back into blogging. i even started scrapping again after a month of nothing.
Here is a shot of my temporary desk:
I did a blog hop to welcome two bundles of joy--see this post  I am doing 12 monthly milestones layouts for each twin (boy and girl). I have everything cut up and ready to assemble previous month but again illness strike in this house. so my goal is to finish these up and get them in mail this Saturday for her baby shower in coming week. I am hoping she will like them.  I will post the layouts in later weeks after she receive them.

As you can see, I'm in a different room if you have seen my previous picture.  well, I move my previous scraproom into a new room as we are planning to fix the old scraproom--there was water damage in room so we decide to do that room first so that meant dragging everything over. well I'm still working on that.  I finally set up the furniture the way i want it. I put table in middle so i can walk around the room to get things out as I'm working on it. one thing I did find about this table is way too small for me. lol but will make do with what i have for now.

my little girl playing with paper animals die cuts.

this is front of table--daughter's dresser until room is finish, three bins still to unpack. my TV to watch shows, drawers plus three box on top currently holding ribbons not everything is over here there is more in other room lol i have way too much stuffs.

this is left side of wall if I am behind the table--large bookshelf will hold my papers, albums, not sure what else yet,  the black shelf I'm hoping all my cricut and sizzix machine including embossing folder and dies.  I'm still work on sorting and groupings things together. totally mess but hopefully put together by next week.

Head on over to Julia's blog to look at others' workdesk worldwide. have a great night!

Welcome to Two Bundles of Joy Hop

Welcome to the Hop.

If you came from Karin, then you are on the right track. If you just happen to come upon my blog first, please go to Nicolette at start of this hop. I want to thank Nicolette for allowing me to be part of this hop.  I’m so excited for her cousin who is expecting twin-boy and girl. I’m a twin myself. So much fun to be a twin.  She will have her hand ful.

For my project, I made a matching set of 12 monthly milestones pages to help remember their milestones at each month.  I used Scrapbook generation sketch book to create these layouts.  I didn’t include photo mats because I wanted for her to use whatever pictures she may have.  I tend to take a lot of pictures of all three of my kiddos so I want to give her options to include vertical or horizontal.  I used a lot of these papers from my stash I had for years. Her theme for twin-baby animal or sport for boy and baby animal or butterfly.

This is one of pages for her:

At One month layout: Paper from my stash, Stamps from Ali Edwards Baby and bunny stamp from Stampin Up.

Your next stop is Kristy..thanks for joining us on this special celebration! Congrats, Samantha!

Here is a list of blog hop if you get lost on your way:
