Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  We don't really have any plans today to celebrate. I'm hoping to sneak into my craft room later today to catch up on couple projects I have going.

I made four cards for Mother's day! of course, I only remember to take picture of one card as the other three was already sealed in envelopes. lol the design of it is pretty simple and I use my scrap stash to create those four cards.  I used the coffee border stamp and embossed in black.  then I decorated bottom and wrote sentiment inside of card.

then I finished this 12 x 12 layout for a swap. the hostress picked a sketch for month of April and then we created four identical layouts using the sketch over at two peas.

Here is the layouts I created... I was thinking of school theme as i have received my niece and nephew's school pictures.
supply used: Bazzil cardstock-green, SU brown and red, orange was from stash, yellow-w r keeper paper, polka dot--SU green, black brad, paper clip from stash, washi tape from walmart,
Here is the shot of Coco Daisy apple stamp: I stamped onto SU green polka dot paper then embossed it in black. then I restamp it onto white scraps i had and embossed it in black then trimmed heart out and pop dot it then pop dot apple onto page.

I had a alot of fun creating this. I'll be back tomorrow with more layouts (if i can get in craft room after kiddos are in bed. lol)

Have a wonderful Mother's day!

12 x 12 2 page layout plus kit Swap

Hello all,

I'm sorry to be MIA for long time.  I had a major flu and still not quite 100% but on way of recovery.  I've three layouts to share that I did for a swap at Two Peas.
I use Allison Davis sketch book volume 8 for these layouts--some of them were changes slightly.

this one is Outdoor theme-I chose a very simple layout of just playing outside can be use for kids or yourself of spending time outside. I originally pick the plaid pattern paper for school theme but as I was looking thur the pictures of my kids playing outside. I thought the paper was perfect for this.  the orange is SU tangerine orange, i use small strip of polka dot orange for borders. Red and dark cardstock is from SU of title and subtitle area. I use black twine and brads to tie all the colors together.  Light yellow is where the picture would go in various sizes. I discover SEI 4 x 6 journal cards.  I use one of them and just trim it down.  I use AE stamps for my title and subtitle...

this is for family theme-I chose this chevron pattern paper for girly theme-such as sweet baby girl, grandma, or any girl relate theme.  I love the colors of those paper. I use SU brown cardstock for background, dolly was rak I won last year. Yellow embellishment (flowers) were from Walmart section--I want to say Jolee but not sure.  the journal box is from SEI 4 x 6 yellow cards.

The third layout is based on seasonal theme. I chose spring as i have spring on my mind. I'm so ready for warm weather with blooming flowers.  I fell in love with this butterfly pattern paper (find this at Micheals).  teal and green cardstock are bazzill bling.  the lite apricot background is SU.  I made the tag from my cricut.  journal box was from my journal stash. I use Chloe's closet flower embellishments and Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  i inked all edges and round corner with my corner punch.

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 141

Happy Wednesday! so WHat's on your workdesk? seems to be the question of day.

This is what my desk looks like:

A complete disaster--I didn't have a chance to clean up over the weekend due to illness and being up with an early bird at 4am who doesn't like to sleep in lol that is my littlest bundle of joy. Yesterday I did post cards for CPS challenges and still have few more to do yet.  I'm hoping to get in there and do the rest.   I also brought this lamp to add more lighting in room as it is too dark for me. so I'm hoping this will work.

So Head on over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see everyone's else workdesk as well as add your. thanks for visiting.
