New Year Scrapy Goals

Happy New Year!
I know I miss the WOYWW yesterday. I wasn't feeling well, in fact I'm still not up to par today. I have a sinus infection. So lovely to get. lol I have been reading everyone blog on my list. Most has made list of top's 10, etc. I have made ten goals I wanted to accomplish in the coming year. I posted these on two peas board and wanted to post here. Ten goals that I want to complete by 2012: 1. Reorganize my scrap room and purge things i won't use 2. Finish all the unfinished layouts I have in a pile that need journals or pictures 3. Sort the finish layouts in the bins before putting into albums 4. Finish my daughter's baby album in January-only couple more layouts to complete 5. Start my son's baby album (he is four months old but want to finish his before august) 6. Use my stash more before buying more supplies 7. Start my scrappy business in January thru etsy shop and my friend's business 8. Sort pictures of my nieces and nephew by year and add journals to them. 9. Upload pictures to shutterfly and get them print 10. Enter more challenges to get those pictures scrap As time go, I will change my goals as I have complete them. I'm looking forward to the new year. So much has happen this past year that i hope it's better in 2011. To all my new friends, Thanks for being with me in past year. I have cherished every one of you. Thanks!

Trying to get few things done today. On my desk, is the reindeer oranments I'm making for kids that are coming over on friday for christmas eve dinner. You will also see the orange box that is shutterfly. My christmas cards came in yesterday so I was putting them together and addresses are on the envelops so now I just need to get them into the mailbox. Also in the second picture is my Dec Daily, I'm still taking pictures and journaling as i go along some of layouts are done. I'm planning to finish them up in Janurary when I order my pictures. so if you want to know what on your workdesk is all about, head on over to Julia's Stamping Ground http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/2010/12/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-81.html that started all of this. 5 days to Christmas

Where did the time goes? I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. I'm trying to get caught up. Saturday I decide to make reindeer ornaments for the kids to have on Christmas eve to feed reindeer. Of course I ran out of adhesive again in my sticker machine. They got to put some of kind of warning that it is near the end. lol Anyhow, I will finish that up tonite, as well for couple other items. I'm still working on my dec daily but will wrap it up in January when I get my pictures develop. I have alot to do to get done this week before Christmas. I need to finish those ornaments for kids on eve, finish up the albums if can, mail out Christmas cards as soon as I get them from shutterfly should be either today or tomorrow. I know it's late it was a last minute decisions to get it done. lol I will post it as soon as everyone get their in mail. lol so that what i'm working now is getting the address label done so I just put it on and put it in the mail. I try to do the letter to Santa with my daughter but she wanted no part of it. she is too little yet for that so i figure maybe next year. I already have my album pick out for Dec daily next year. I know early. Have anyone done Dec daily the previous year? I know i have taken pictures everyday last Christmas but journals might be little hard. Last year was a huge Christmas surprise when we find out i was pregnant with our second child. I have date of when we find out and stuffs. so I'm thinking of doing that. I figure that would be January project along with other. lol Off to check others' blogs! I'm trying to get around the blogs thru Stamping Ground but not doing too great on it as I'm not feeling that great, and hard to leave comments when you have a two years old yanking on your arm. lol

Making Christmas cards

It's that time of year where we all are thinking of making our annual Christmas card to send to family and friends. I was originally going to make my homemade, however, time is running out and I'm turning to the help of digital. Below I am writing about shutterfly.com because of an awesome deal they are offering to bloggers, in return I will receive 50 free Christmas cards. This is my opinions and experiences mentioned are mine alone. Since Shutterfly is making it easy for me to make my Christmas cards this year. I went online and check out their website. As I was checking out their card & stationary section (http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-cards ), there are hundreds of designs to choose from. I was having a hard time picking out the best designs for my pictures as there were so many to chose from. I love them all. They even have more than 1 photo if you want to include a lot of pictures. I have picked out three that go along with my pictures of kids which I‘m excited about. I’m not going to show them because then it won’t be surprise for my family and friends. Shutterfly also offers other products such as coffee mugs for those loves one, ornaments for the tree, or even a calendar of year (http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-gifts . ) Another great gift I'm thinking of doing is recipe book for my mom who make our traditional cookies every christmas--is doing the photobook that Shutterfly is offering. so check it out for yourself-- http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-books so check it out for yourself and see why I love shutterfly.

updated

Today we put our tree up. No it's not decorate yet. We're planning to in couple days. Our daughter was so amazed by it. lol We trying to tell her about christmas and stuffs but she doesn't quite get it yet. lol Anyway, I'm sorry for really bad pictures. no matter how I try different angle, the lighting in room is really bad plus it's been dark and rainy. This little frame is 4 by 4. The Happy St. Patricks day sign came from Creating Keepsake freebie. the sticker is what i had in my stash. the green cardstock is from SU. the first card is white base then birthday cake was a sticker that was in my stash for long time. I use yellow glitter glue to highlite certain areas. I'm planning to stamp a saying inside. The second card is also from my stash, This is creative memories kit that come in small envelope. I use them here. it turn out really cute. i need to make one more card--for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I can't believe she will be two in 25 days. where did the time go? this card is for the jitterbugin challenge--may or may not use sketch, need to add ribbon and bling. Use white card base, ink around the edge with SU olive ink, tag came from CTMH christmas stamp. I add silver brad and top with lite green bling which is hard to see. the polka dot is su paper wrap green ribbon like it was a present and add the tag.

Anyhow, I found these picture frames in my totes. I got them at Target $1 bins last year. I just decide to create one frame for my friend, Sherry to celebrate St. Patrick day.
