This is what my desk looks like: 

A complete disaster--I didn't have a chance to clean up over the weekend due to illness and being up with an early bird at 4am who doesn't like to sleep in lol that is my littlest bundle of joy. Yesterday I did post cards for CPS challenges and still have few more to do yet.  I'm hoping to get in there and do the rest.   I also brought this lamp to add more lighting in room as it is too dark for me. so I'm hoping this will work.

This past Sunday, I was able to get in there and clean off the desk and the floor. However, Monday night I was back at it and making cards for Card Positioning Systems card sketch challenges. They are having a celebration in honor of their 5th anniversary and are showcasing a different sketch everyday for the next 15 days (currently on day 11 today) .

 

Julia--those boxes you saw last week are these--i had them out while I was working on couple layouts.  Next week I'll show more of my room once I'm getting them organize more.

Today I'm currently working on swap layouts I'm join up over at Two Peas.  A group of us are making four layouts each month and will receive 12 layouts back.  I'm so excited for this to help me catch up with all extra pictures i have.  Dor, the hostress, post monthly sketch that we can use and put our own twist on it.  then at end of each month we need to post picture to swap to show we finish it. I'm of course late due to fact that I fell asleep last night putting my dd to bed. oops! so today I'm going to finish it up and get it post.  I already have plans for feb layout which I'm super excited about.

the first WOYWW of 2012 Post-I'm joining in the fun of glimpse others' crafty space. If you want to go around the world, head on over to Julia's blog and join in the fun!  My desk currently look like this-clean and tidy to work on my next four ongoing layouts--

this is my other table so i can spread the layouts out to do my embellishments which will be cut out with my expression (hidden on left side). These layouts are for Allison's class I'm currently taking.

Right now I'm litlte behind due to holiday plus having my bundle of joy last week. I'm hoping o be back to scrapping soon. Thanks for looking.

Wow, It has been a busy few weeks since I lasted posted for What's on your workdesk Wednesday... Currently this is what I'm working on..a layout that I'm stuck on however I think I have find a perfect title for this layout then I will be done yeah.

Here is the three layouts I have finish from my 16 preplanned stack that was sitting in my basket for while.

New Year Layout

the ATC tag was from a swap I did in 2009 which i thought was perfect. I use the colors of for this layout of my sweet girl.  2009 title came from graphic speaking and embellish with rhinestones.  I happen to have that ribbon (Halloween from Walmart) to tie it all together. 



sorry blogger won't let me fix it--i wanted to show you the butterfly that was ruin. When I receive this from a giveaway, I thought it was awesome because I had alot of layouts to use these on however as you can see some of it came off before i had a chance to.

Here is a close up--this is what I did I rub the half body of butterfly and trim other half and move antenna up closer then I add the bling as part of body.  the words beautiful daughter was from this rubon that i just add them together.  I love it how it turns out. then I print my journalings on a perscenlant paper (from Walmart). the dot paper came from K&C paper stack.

First Food Layout

This was done at a crop in 2009 (grasp)--Yep that how long it was sitting in my basket. lol
I made a booboo on the date so this is how I fixed it and plus it needed somthing else.  

Here I cut the bowl~~From my kitchen cartridge. I use papers from my stash. then I used my stampin up punch oval shape (sorry can't remember what it called) and print the correct date on it.  I love how it turns out.

Baby Girl Layout

the background paper I had in my stash forever.  I used Stampin' up Stamp~ Baby Girl~ try to emboss it with clear but it didn't quite work the way i wanted too. lol   add my journals.  on both pages--the first page is me holding her for the first time and second page is me feeding her for first time.

Let me know if you like the pictures--I took them in a new place using natural lightnings which some of them did show true colorings and some was dark.  I'm still working on that.  I am planning to buy Otti light but right now I'm on budget so it will have to wait. I have to admit I haven't done any cleaning or ogranzing in the room but I'm hoping to get into that this weekend. I've made a list of what I want to accomplishment in each area. I'm doing it in small stages as I have alot. lol I so wish i could take it all out of room and bring each things in one at time but can't. so I will make do. Not whole alot as this past week have been filled with shopping, illness, teething, and just plain tire. lol

so what I show last week in my scrap room remain the same. This is what i have been working at my computer:

Catching up on 500 postings from my google readers. I'm down to 300 at 10:30am. lol When i took these pictures, it was at 5am this morning as my little girl decide to get up. There is no sleeping in for this mama. My little girl has always been an early bird since she was in my womb. lol  Yes, I'm planning to do an layout on her being early bird it is actually in my pre-plan basket with papers and embellshments.

While I'm reading the posts, I am also orgaizing my pictures into monthly folders within the year folders. This only part of my pictures ditgials as rest are over at my mom's computer which i need to download and backup for futures. I only have 2008 to present on my computers and yes I have more that I need to get develop and organize.

I have noticed that I prefer to use 4x6 for alot of my layouts very rarely I would enlarge or reduce. I'm trying to do more based on sketches but I prefer to get my pictures develop and into my photo box.  Right now I'm holding off because I need to buy more photo box from CM. They are my favorite but boy when did the price jump. so I'm trying to figure out an alternive.

Project 2011 - End of Week 1 accounting

I couldn't beleive how fast this week went since last wednesday. As I have stated earlier, I wasn't able do much.

This is what i have done so far:

1. Continue with reorganize room
set up my expression and bug on my black desk that as far as I gotten in the room. lol However, I did organize my pictures on the computer to year then monthly. I'm planning to go thur my photos of what i have printed and what need to be printed. Currently it all mixed up that I don't know what month i need to printed yet.

2. Work on my pre-plan layouts that are in the basket

I currently have three layouts that need to be complete which I am hoping to today or tomorrow.

3. Work on Dec Daily Project -order pictures monday with special offer from shutterfly will try to print journals out tomorrow

4. Work on Birthday Album Projects--still on hold for now.

Good afternoon,

It's snowing here. Suppose to get 3 to 6 inches of snow. Yeah! Great day to stay in and scrapin'. Last night, I tried to print my journals but my printer was acting up for some reason. Ugh! so i have to recut my paper journals so i can reprint them today and finish those layouts. I was sick all week since the last postings so it remain the same. Since I was feeling better this morning, I actually clean up and group projects of what I need to do yet. lol still on that path--not really getting anywhere.

So what's on my desk you ask~~

Currently, this what my space looks like after some cleaning this morning--I actually clean this table off so i could finish those layouts for my journals to print out when kids are napping. Over the white cabinet is where i piled most of stuffs until i can complete the projects this week (I'm hoping). I also took out my new expression--isn't it pretty! love the color my sister pick it out. I have alot on my list that i want to finish--

1. Finish the journals on layouts

2. file completed layouts into tote for safekeeping

3. clean cabinet off and put stuffs away

4. put expression and jukebox there if enough room my baby bug --i find that i tend to stand when i am doing any kind of stamping and cutting out just easier to do that.

5. finish project 12 layout

Someone ask if I had Vagabond. I have to admitted. I had no clue what this was so i had to do a search. lol I'm don't follow Tim Holtz. It's not really my style but as I was reading about it, I do love his embossing folders which i have many of them on my wishlist. Below is what is sitting on the rolling cart--it is my cd player given to me by my parents for my birthday many years ago.

I'm hoping to have some layouts post either tonight or tomorrow for sure. I'm also planning to work on valentine's card. I have a few ideas that I want to try out with my expression. lol

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday 85

Currently on my desk, I am trying to finish all my uncompleted layouts that have been in my basket for few months that need either journal, or picture or both. I've decide to try to finish these before doing any more challenges as I wasn't having my mojo going with all the mess that is surround me. I so need to clean and reorganize so i can create better without running into mess. lol

On the desk, is my christmas 2008 of our poor chalie brown tree. lol I was planning to use a very old chipboard stash that has glitter--Kurio chipboard that came in small package box. I remember getting them from Wal-mart. Well I ran into a problem with these chipboards not all the letter are there--for exame there is on I only one E etc. ect you name it there is not just enough letter. so if anyone have this in their stash and not using it--I'll be happy to take it off your hand. lol ugh Now i know why i quit buying aphla chipboard and stickers because of this. lol Yeah i know i could make my own but the problem is I don't have any silver glitter as I don't use glitter that much on my layouts. lol I'm thinking of diging out my plain chipboard and emboss them in silver embossing power. that will be a first for me to do.

I was planning to post the finished layouts last night but my kids decide to stay up past their bedtime. lol I think they knew I want to do some scrappin'. Here they are:

this was my daughter's after her first bath. Her cousins was helping me getting her dress.

I use new arrival for the oneies. and very old rub on for title and decoration in middle.

This is my daughter's first easter egg hunt with her cousins.

Before I knew about Picsa--I created the collage on right myself by sizing and cutting. I will be using Picsa for collage in future. lol it was alot of work.

This one is my favorite layout and picture. you really can't see it but I use solid red texture cardstock for backgroun, green crimp texture behind the title and on bottom. I had the dog paw pp in my stash, I cut a strip for on the bottom and then lefteover of it--it has brown on back and use two small strips and tear it and curl it up. The ribbon from american craft. the sticker was in my dog stash. chipboard letters from Kurio. journal card was from my stash as well. lol Alot of them was from my stash that I have been hoarding or didn't use until i had the right layout. lol Hope you enjoy the layouts, sorry for glare I still can't find the right place to take picture of them. I was planning to post this morning but as you know life get in the way. lol I woke up at 6am--admitting I did not want to get up but my little one was ready for his bottle. :) I came downstairs seeing that my other one was up too. My sweet hun say to me I haven't been to bed yet. I was like why thinking to myself that's your fault sweetie. lol Well, my little girl was up at 230 and wouldn't go back to bed so she stay up with daddy. Funny thing happens--after i took care of my baby boy I went to my recliner, my little girl came over to me and sat on my lap and crashes. lol so she has three hours nap ps so did mommy and little boy. lol Then we all get ready to go grocery shopping again as I didn't get everything I needed. We went to different Wal-mart and I was able to get my storage container I want for my room. We arrived home and relaxing of course after I put grocery away. my little girl was little cranky but settle down now watching spongebob.

I was able to take picture of what on my desk which is not a whole alot going on. lol You will see the journals for my dec daily If I can work on it tonight after kids are in bed. I am planning to make tags for my album and just need to have measurement for the tags so those journals will fix. I'm hopping tomorrow I can finis

h my picture collage so I can get them upload. I want to show you a peek under my desk that is waiting for me to play: Yep, My very own expression given to me by my sister. Thanks, sis. Good afternoon, Sorry I didn't get this up this morning as we were getting ready to go over to my mom's house to make cookies. I know Amber has a ball watching us making cookie and putting them on the tray. Both kids are napping now. It is four o'clock here. This mama is pooped and still have alot to do. Trying to get few things done today. On my desk, is the reindeer oranments I'm making for kids that are coming over on friday for christmas eve dinner. You will also see the orange box that is shutterfly. My christmas cards came in yesterday so I was putting them together and addresses are on the envelops so now I just need to get them into the mailbox. Also in the second picture is my Dec Daily, I'm still taking pictures and journaling as i go along some of layouts are done. Currently not whole alot on my desktop as everything was move to let our fix it man thur to fix our furance that died on friday and got a new one on monday. IT was very COLD! I ended up taking the kids to my mom's house for warmth on sunday as it dropped below 20. Last night I find this cool blog by Creativity Prompts (http://www.creativityprompt.com/ ). She designs these for Dec Daily. I printed them on bright white which I love. I was orginally was going to use my number stickers for days but I love these better. so I'm excited. I'm planning to work on them tomorrow once I get the room back together and get caught up on that. I have journals and will get photos together to upload to shutterfly using the 8x 10 format which may be cheaper. Here is my workdesk this afternoon: I finished the valentine collage but need to get the bigger frame. The frame I was planning to use the glass broke. :( I also started cleaning up putting papers, scraps, and tools away. We are goign away tomorrow and I want to have a clean scraproom when I come back on saturday. lol While i was cleaning up, I find my cupcake recipe album from a swap i did a few months before. I was going thur them and pick few recipes to try out for next month. I also receive my soup swap this past friday. I will post them next wednesday when i get an album for them. I ran out of page protectors so that mean a trip to Micheal. lol which is fine I have a list that i need to get while I'm there anyhow.

There are three layouts I send for Scrapbooking Ali design team. She provided three different sketches to chose from. I chose the first two. I love how they turn out. I know I need to work on taking pictures of my layouts. Sometime I luck out and other time it look crappy. lol I've been looking at wide format printer that would scan these. It is something on my wishlist.

Here is the card I made for the wedding invitation for The Scrapbook Queen: I really like how my cover turn out. I use Bazzil birthstone paper then I embossed in silver power for edge. then I printed their engagment picture in B & W then inside. I had trouble with but i like it.

Well, that's it for now. I'm working on the Jitterbuggin challenge today. I will post it tomorrow before we head down to his mom for Thanksgiving dinner.

Good morning, all

I'm working on my first cup of coffee. It is very cold and deary outside. brrrr! Here is what my desks look like:

I actually have two desks. This is my main desk that I tend to do layouts and cards but as you can see it actually became catch it all desk from leftover projects and same for the cabinet in second picture. I'm planning to clean this up and put stuffs away and reorganize sometime this weekend. On the table is currently holding my baby bug and current project. I'm currently entering a wedding card challenge which is still in work this morning. I'm working on printing the inside of invitation.
