Big Day!!!

Today is my due date--Aug 6th of my little boy. However, nothing is happening yet. lol Yesterday I was having contractions from 630am to about 6pm. I had my prenatal checkup--I'm only 2 cm but doc feels that he will go sometime this weekend. I think he goign to arrive late, not going to be on schedule. My stubborn little guy! I can see it now! lol I'm in mood to scrap but have to wait for my sweetie to wake up. He is a night owl and sleep all day. It is hard for me to handle that because I'm the opposite which i have to be with my daughter. lol She is my early bird. I have a perfect paper for her to describe her being my early bird. I think i will scrap that today and i have pictures of her in her crib in morning. lol Also, I have two pages layouts for Pink cricut to post from when i won her giveaway. I need to finish that up today so i can post. I have't been able to send my pictures to get them develop yet. That is still on my to do list. It keeps growing. lol Number one is i need to clean my scrap room it is a diaster right now. lol Well, that's it for now. will post more later.

I have been hearing about the I-rock. Never thought you could use it for front of album. I have this on my wishlist which keep growing. lol Check it out! http://www.imaginisceblog.com/ I haven't have the baby yet! Still waiting! I'm slowing getting my layouts with journals completed. Finally, now I'm going thur completed layouts of my daughter's and making a list of waht i need to add yet that i have in my head such as her nursery--i thought i had taken pictures but didn't. I have read on someone's blog that it is ok to take it now to add. I'm planning to take pictures of her crib she slept in until june , her dresser, changing table that she has outgrow now. I have her baby clothes in bin yet that I'm planning to take picture of, her diaper bag, her first piggy bank etc. and few others. I have start my son's layouts--his ultrasounds, and my belly shots. mm That's it for now. Thanks for reading.

Pre-plan Pages

This a sketch I had in my file that inspire me to do a Thanksgiving 2 pg Layout. I also wanted to do the July Challenge: Brads/Eylet from Scrap our Stash but i missed the deadline of course. My little one wouldn't cooperate with me today. lol Sorry for not so great picture-I use two brads for my journal box and three brads on right for the thanksgiving defination. It really set it off. The turkey came from Cricut.

I thought I post how I do my pre-plan pages in stages with having limited timing each day. I'm lucky if i can get any scrapping in for an hour or so.

First step--chosing pictures--I'm working on my belly shots. Currently I have a few missing that i need to get print out so I add it to my list of pictures to print which i'll be uploading to Walmart tomorrow.

Second step--I will look thur my sketch ideas--could be from Pagemap, a files of various sketchs from others, or magizine. then I will write it on the card if i chose a sketch or I may create my own sketch which I did below.

Step three--Choosing papers and embellisments

When I did the picture, I actually knew that i wanted to use the stickers of pregant woman and saying "What's in your Tummy?. I chose Grey texture (SU) cardstocks then I was deciding on the two accents colors. I chose the lite tuquiose cardstock for mats. I was planing to use white for my tags for journals. While I was setting up the layouts. I had my button collection out from previous project and happen to saw this pale yellow. I decide to use this button as second accent and switch white tag to pale yellow (in third picture--look white but it is yellow). I went ahead and stamp the tags I'll need for this layouts.

Step four--I put all the planning in the page pocket until I can get pictures and journal printed done then I'll go back and put it all together. I store them in this basket so i can do all journals on computer at once and order my pictures on sunday.

Home sweet home shapes

This is my first time using the clear shapes. I have several chipboards but haven't use them yet. So my goal is to use them either as album or embellishment. I'm excited to try them out. Anyone has tips on how to use clear shapes to either paint or put paper on them. I've a layout in mind to create but no pictures. lol but want to try it out.

Today I'm in process of finishing up my layouts that I have completed but need journals add. Plan to do that today. and start my pre-plan pages for tomorrow. My friend Wendy is coming over to scrap with me. So I'm looking forward in doing that. There is two challenges that i want to try out--one is the sketch from Sketchy Thursday and the color galore which i will combine them. I just got perfect pictures today when we took our daughter to park and I just realize the outfit she wore will work for color combo galore

I just this layout today! I used New arrival cartridge which i love. I think my fav is

the duck which i use alot. lol I'm currently working on the getting dress after her bath but can't decide on the colors. lol I'm planning to cut out some onies that are on the cartridge to add to page and maybe some scallop shape or another shape not sure yet.
